Wouldn’t you like to have your hormones work FOR you instead of against you?

human-growth-hormoneIt’s very possible. In fact, it is the key to truly smart exercise. And smart exercise equals smart weight loss. Smart weight loss equals optimal health.

The benefits of optimizing your exercise routines to produce spurts of human growth hormone, make it the “holy grail” of what most people have been searching for to obtain their ideal weight and to maximize their efforts from exercise.

Here’s a brief introduction…

Human growth hormone is a hormone secreted by the pituitary gland which is a part of your brain.  Growth hormone does some pretty powerful things when it comes to getting in shape, such as creating an increase in lean muscle mass, (by burning fat and increasing muscle tone) but it also helps with keeping bones healthy, and maybe most importantly, it helps control blood sugar and insulin levels. Throw on top of that the fact that it helps keep your skin looking young and can improve your overall energy levels, and you can see why people go overboard and want to inject it into their body.

There are ways for you to leverage the effects of HGH in your own body and our exercise concepts will help teach you that. If you are female, like most of my clients, don’t let the sound of it scare you. You won’t balloon up like a body builder just by maximizing these effects, you will become more youthful, toned and it can have a big say on how you age.

The best way to activate growth hormone is to engage in intense exercise routines. There is pretty much a direct correlation between the intensity of your exercise and the production of human growth hormone.

You know those people who spend 40 minutes on the treadmill, talking to their friends the whole time? That’s NOT what I’m talking about. Most likely their body composition looks the same now as when they started (usually in the 1980′s)

That type of exercise is great for maintaining body composition but will not transform your body.

Most everyday that I workout, I am in the gym and out and the same people who were there when I got there, are still there when I leave. I get far more bang for my buck, more results with less time. Isn’t that what we need in today’s busy world? You bet!

For now, just try to turn it up a notch, focus, get a bit more intense, recruit multiple muscles in full body movements and come back here frequently as we get ready to guide you through true transforming exercise.

Excellent post! Well written, I will check back for more health and fitness tips. HGH and the body isn’t very well understood by most gym goers, but you’ve explained it well in this post.

This makes a lot of sense. Just a few months ago I was considered obese. A couple months after deciding to get in shape, I had hit a plateau. A friend suggested an intense bike ride and offered to lead. We powered up hills until my quads felt like they would burst into flames.

He coached me on getting my arms and core involved while cycling. I lost weight every day for a week after that one intense routine. It was just what I needed to break through the plateau and get things moving again.

I’m now a firm believer of adding in a once weekly routine that leaves me laying on the ground gasping for breath. Of course I don’t push myself to injury during these intense works but they have completely changed how I look and feel in a very short amount of time.
